Welcome to UK Therapy Guild. I'm Nichola Doyle, Founder and your lead tutor. My path here combines over 20 years of dedicated experience in education with extensive qualifications: MA Education & Teaching, BA Hons Education (QTS), FdA Children’s Development & Learning, L6 Counselling Supervision, L5 Diploma in Hypnotherapy, and L5 Diploma in Integrative Counselling. I am also a Senior Accredited Member of the NCIP and ACCPH, and Member of the BACP.
After a rewarding career in teaching and management, I transitioned into the therapeutic field. This journey led me to train with UKAIT and gain invaluable experience, becoming a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and Clinical Hypnotherapist. Now, UK Therapy Guild proudly continues the esteemed classroom training legacy established by UKAIT.
My own practice, Bridge to the Other Side Counselling & Hypnotherapy, serves adults and young people, and I bring this extensive real-world experience directly into our training. I work across diverse settings, including schools and specialist services, utilising powerful tools such as EMDR, specialised addiction therapies, and trauma-informed techniques to help clients navigate complex challenges.
The very techniques you will master on this course are those I use daily, and I am honoured to guide you in developing the skills that have profoundly changed my life and the lives of my clients.
